Star Wars Black Series 6" Ahsoka Tano

"So the apprentice lives."

This figure is of Ahsoka Tano based on how she appears in Star Wars Rebels. "Snips" has come a long way since the Clone Wars. She's older, wiser and has become quite a badass wielding dual lightsabers. I think Hasbro did a great job with her. She's got a great head sculpt. There's a good likeness. She has a determined look about her. Her head tails and Lekku turned out nicely. There's a bit of texture to them. The paint apps are decent. The pattern on her face was well painted. The pattern on her Lekku though have some bleeding and smudging. There's nice detail on her attire. There are wrinkles on her sleeves, inner tunic, pants and boots. She wears light plated bracers on her forearms. There are buttons on them. I can't recall if there's any use for them in the show. The chest plate is a separate piece stuck on. As is the outer beige skirt piece which has some textured detail on it. The inner brown soft goods skirt allows for leg articulation. I like that the buckles, rivets and hooks were painted. Also the silver lining of the outer skirt.

Accessories. She comes with both of her lightsabers. Both of which has a curved grip. It's not that noticeable on her secondary one but there is a slight curve to it. Both grips were made of the soft, rubbery type of plastic. I would have preferred the more solid type. She can hold her lightsabers well. Her secondary lightsaber has a shorter blade. I didn't realise that until now. Both blades have a slight bluish tinge to them. They should be white. I'm not sure how they can pull it off though. I think they would look crappy if they were transparent.

The lightsabers may be carried at her waist.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel and weapon (up and down) hinge right wrist, swivel hinge left wrist, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. Head rotation is hindered by her Lekku and she can hardly look up or down. The torso joint has a good range of motion. The soft goods skirt allows for leg articulation with little hindrance. The ankle pivot is hindered by her boots.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! I'm looking forward to more Rebels characters. Sabine has already been announced. Hopefully the others won't be too far behind. Thanks for viewing!
