Star Wars Black Series 6" Luke Skywalker (Ep IV)

"The Force is strong in this one."

Luke as we first see him on Tatooine. This rounds up his main looks from the Original Trilogy. Two more I can think of are the Bacta Tank and Speeder Bike gear but I don't think I'll want them. I would be interested in an accessory pack though. I'll like to get a cloak for him. The head sculpt is okay. He wears a glum look on his face. If you hold it up to the light you can make out the slight bump on the right side of his face. That's a nice bit of detail. I'm annoyed that the eyes were painted right at his upper eyelid. Really... The hair is nice and has good detail. It's got a bit of light tan shading on it. He has a soft goods tunic. They did decent job of it. It's just a little too big for me. The cutting and the stitching was well done. I would have liked if they did not make that stitch on the back. It just spoils the look. His pants are textured. The boots have great sculpted detail. There's some dry brushing on them which is nice.

With a soft goods tunic, we can fiddle around with it a bit. Why hello there Power of the Force Luke.

The belt is glued together and you can open it if you want. I went with the more troublesome method and removed the tunic by sliding it out. They got Luke's body shape right.

Accessories. He comes with a lightsaber and a a pair of macrobinoculars. We've seen this particular lightsaber before. The black paint detail on this one is not good though, the colour is light. The lightsaber can be carried on his belt.

The macrobinoculars is a solid accessory. It has lots of great detail. It has the knobs, dials and everything. There's excellent paint detail which really makes it stand out. It is quite thick and you'll need to stretch his hands if you want him to hold it properly.

There's a clip on the underside of it and you can clip it on his belt.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look down very well. Up not so much. He's got a good range of motion.

Comparison shots.

It's just an okay figure for me. They made a good attempt with the soft goods tunic. Thanks for viewing!
