The Avengers 3.75" Iron Man Fusion Armor Mark VII

A look at Iron Man, now donning the Mark VII.

The first thing I noticed about this figure was the shape of the arc reactor. It has gone back to being a circle instead of a triangle which we last saw on the Mark VI. I like the look of this figure. The design of this armour looks to be more heavy duty. His shoulders are raised, the shoulder pads are thicker and more rounded, there's an extra layer on his thighs and the body looks to be thicker. The figure is well painted. Like that there are no painted lines on his abdomen.

Comparison with the Mark IV (left) and the Mark VI (right). I know... Mark IV is shaking in his armour. Still, you can see that the Mark VII is slightly shorter than the other two. You can click on the images to enlarge.

Mark I to Mark VII. My favourite figure is the Mark III for the simpler look. My second favourite is this figure.

His accessory is a shield / saw blade. You can make it spin. I think its a fun piece. What I like about it is the detail. Its part cicuitry and part energy. It has the clip and peg so you can put it on his wrist or on his back.

You can also have him hold it in his left hand so as to throw it at his enemies or perhaps use it as an umbrella.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel and swivel hinge knees. There's not much bend at the knees due to the sculpt. He could really use some wrist articulation.

Check back soon for another Avengers figure! Thanks for viewing!
