Avengers Assembling at Marina Bay Sands!!!

Robert Downey Jr., Benedict Cumberbatch, Karen Gillan and Director Joe Russo are coming to town!

That's right! To celebrate the upcoming release of Avengers: Infinity War, Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange), Karen Gillan (Nebula) and Joe Russo (Director) are coming to Singapore and will be making an appearance at a show-stopping red carpet-style fan event at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) on 16th April 2018. 

The event will be free and open to the public. But do note that there is a capacity limit and you will need to register if you want to go for the event. More details will be released on 2nd April 2018 at 12 noon so be sure to check the website https://www.marinabaysands.com/entertainment/avengers.html#4RErz3mSYELS1wgo.97  then. I know I will. Heck I might even be at MBS on that day just in case.

Disney's MOANA Festive Light Up Event at the Art Science Museum

Just some pics from the festive light up event at the Art Science Museum with Disney's Moana yesterday evening. Auli'i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Osnat Shurer (Producer), Griselda Sastrawinata (Visual Developement Artist) and Roger Lee (Lighting Artist) were on hand to do the honours for the light up and help kick off the Holiday Season. 

STGCC 2016 Artist Alley Feature - ZEKEZACHZOOM (Stand AA24)

There's a number of new faces in the Artist Alley at STGCC this year. Several stalls caught the eye, including one ZEKEZACHZOOM which I recall seeing at the Star Wars Day event earlier this year. I decided to have a chat with him. 

STGCC 2016: Action City - Mystery BE@RBRICK Unveiled!

Mystery no more! The Exclusive SJ50 MY FIRST BE@ARBRICK BABY 400% as well as its 100% counterpart were unveiled for the first time to the world today at the Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC). The figure is a tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Singapore-Japan Diplomatic Relations.

One of the first things I wanted to do was to check out the Imaginarium Art booth to get a look at their Exclusive Soundwave which comes with Ratbat! You've seen the Blue Carpet Event as well as the Cosplay Competition. But there's lots more going on at the Captain America: Civil War Festival which is held at the Event Plaza at the Promenade, Marina Bay Sands. The event is organised by Reed Exhibitions. The Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) concluded over the weekend. I enjoyed this year's edition more than last year's. The atmosphere was great! There just seemed to be a buzz everywhere I went.

STGCC 2014 - Recap

The Singapore Toy Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) was held over the weekend. It's been an exhausting but fun two days. 

I'm going to do things a little differently this year. The recap will be up first. It may take awhile if I were to follow my previous format of posting up the toy segments. There's over two thousand shots to sort through... Yeah I'm a little shocked myself. There were just so many toys this year!

The cast of the Amazing Spider-man 2 are in Singapore! Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx along with director Marc Webb and producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are in town for Earth Hour and an international press conference for the movie. This was a rare opportunity to see the them in person and I wasn't going to miss it.

Come September, Joe Madureira will make his first appearance in Singapore at the highly-anticipated Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2013. Marvel Comics book writer/artist and game developer, he is acclaimed for his works on Marvel Comics’ Uncanny X-Men and his creator-owned comic book Battle Chasers.
