Doujinma 2016 (Singapore)

I dropped by Doujinma today for a bit. It was my first visit to the event and I must say it was quite an eye-opener. Doujinma or Doujin Market is where you can find all sorts of independent Artists and Creator items ranging from art books, bookmarks, posters, badges, keychains, stickers and so on. They are mainly based on Japanese content but you can find western content at the booths as well. The event, organised by the Neo Tokyo Project has been going on for a couple of years now. It is usually held at SCAPE. But judging by the crowd I can see the need for the change in venue. This year's edition is being held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Level 2, The Crescent. It is on until 8 May 2016, which is tomorrow. Here are a few pics from today.

There are talks and seminars going on as well. If you are an aspiring artists you may want to check out the schedule below to see if there is anything of interest. And if you have a portfolio of your work you can bring it down and have them looked at.

For more information and details. you can check out the Doujinma site here. Tomorrow is the last day!
