Marvel Legends Series Korg BAF Wave Mighty Thor (Jane Foster)

There's a new Thor in town!

If you've watched the trailer you would have seen the Jane Foster Thor. She looks great there, and she's looking really good here. I'm liking this figure a lot. The proportions look great. She appears tough and strong. There's a good amount of paint detail and she really "pops" with the metallic colours of her armour. The body is all new. The elbows and knees are pinless. There's great sculpted detail for her armour and on the brown skirt piece. The cape looks good and is not too heavy. She is able to stand well.

To better show the design of the leg armour. I like the look of it, especially the "wing" portion.

Before continuing let me just say that she looks better in person. There's some shadow issue in my pics... She does not have a crooked nose. It's perfectly fine. I can't say the same for the eyes. They seem off. Her right eye is closer to her nose than her left. Other than that she looks great. There's a good likeness to Natalie Portman. She's even got the mole on her cheek. The hair looks good too and has some nice detail on it. I'm unsure about the hair colour though. The upper section is of a darker tone compared to the lower section. It looks odd to me.

Accessories. She comes with an alternate helmeted head and Mjonir.

THE INCLUDED BAF PART IS THE LEFT LEG OF KORG. I somehow forgot to include it in the shot...

The helmeted head looks pretty good. She's not cross-eyed like Thor which is a big plus. In fact her eyes were done well. There is some resemblance to Natalie Portman, notably from the side view. Her mole is present on her cheek as well. The helmet is a bit of a let down. The main portion is okay. It's the wings which spoil the look. They look rather plasticy compared to the metallic look of the centre section. The wings do have nice sculpted detail on them. The paint deco on the helmet was well done. The hair is just the plain blonde colour with no wash or shading.

I did a head swap with the comic version. I like the look of the comic head on this body. She looks more fierce. And I think the gold deco on the helmet goes better than red. The MCU head on the comic body looks pretty good. The MCU head is loose on the peg but still sits okay thanks to the hair.

And here's the unmasked head on the comic version body. It's not bad.

Mjolnir has clearly been put back together somehow. You can make out the crack lines all over the head. It has a new longer handle. I like the silver paint applied on the grip.

This Mjolnir is bigger than what we've gotten previously. I've compared it with the comic version Jane Foster's and the Dark World Thor's Mjolnirs below. Mjolnir looks a little big on her but you know what, I like it. It'll sure to pack a punch. She's able to hold it decently.

Articulation. She's got a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge right wrist, swivel hinge left wrist, diaphragm joint, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She cannot look up due to her hair. She can look down a little. Raising her arms up fully will make a V shape. There's hardly any forward bend at the diaphragm joint. She can bend back and tilt her body to the side.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! If you see the figure grab it! Thanks for viewing!
