Marvel Legends Series The Infinity Saga Quicksilver

You didn't see this coming?

One of the the most wanted MCU characters has finally arrived. Quicksilver was worth the wait for the excellent articulation he has. You'll see that further down below. In terms of look he's got a decent head sculpt. The likeness is better in some angles. The eyes were done very well, and also the eyebrows and the five o'clock shadow. The hair is a mess. It looks splotchy and chunky. The white paint is simply too thick. The body is all new. Practically the whole of his top is textured. The pattern on the upper torso is larger than that at his mid-section. It can appear weird, like they are from two different shirts but it is supposed to be like that. I checked. The mid-section is supposed to be of a darker grey colour to differentiate that section. It's the same colour here. The silver and blue painted lines and design appear correct as far as I can tell. There's nice detail on his pants. And also his sneakers. I like that they painted the tip and the sole green.

Some close-ups.

Accessories. He comes with a pair of finger pointing hands and three Ultron bot pieces which you see below.

For accessories the Ultron parts were done very well. There's a head and spine, a torso section and a right arm. There's a great amount of detail on them. I especially like the metallic look they have. The black wash take things up a notch giving them a battle-damaged appearance. Very nice!

I'm not sure what Hasbro was thinking giving us these finger pointing hands. He doesn't run like that does he? Or was there a significant scene with them? Looks like a rewatch of Age of Ultron is in order.

Wait a minute! I think I got it. They must have included these hands so we can do the "think" meme. How nice.

Articulation. He's got a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, waist rotation, ball hips with drop down hinge, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down very well. There's not a lot of bend, forward and back at the torso joint. The shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles have very good range. The drop down hinge does wonders. He's able to do some great poses.

Comparison shots. The height is okay to me. He's slightly taller than both Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye.

Quicksilver is a good figure. The hair could be better. And he could use some proper, open running hands. The articulation is excellent. Thanks for viewing!
