Woohoo! Another Snake Eyes! This time we get the Commando version of him. He's easily identifiable by the dark goggles he wears. The goggles are gloss black which help differentiate them from his mask. I should say helmet for its smooth sturdy construction. There's some nice detail on it. I especially like the straps for the goggles. The body largely reuses the Beachhead body. You can tell from the pouches on his upper arms and the ribbed sleeves. The shin guards and vest are new. The shin guards have some nicks and dents in them. The vest looks rather bulky to me, especially from the front and back view. It has great detail on it. It has a several pouches, clips and straps on it. It is textured is some areas and appears leather like. There's a hole on his back where we can have him carry other accessories from previous figures.
Some close-ups of his head.
Did a head swap. The heads are not compatible. The visored head is loose on this figure while the goggled head cannot fit the peg of the series 1 figure. They still look decent.
Accessories. He comes with two large automatic assault rifles, his Uzi, a pistol, a silencer and a knife. Do forgive me as I do not know the proper names of the guns.
The two large assault rifles are new. They are fully black in colour and have great sculpted detail on them. The best part is that both have removable clips. Very nice!
The pistol, silencer and knife may be stored on his person. He's going to have some trouble drawing his pistol as the rather large pouch attached to his vest will get in the way.
Perhaps the best inclusion in this set is Timber.
Timber looks great! The fur detail is excellent. And it's topped off with some great paint apps. I love the various shades and blend of greys on him. There's some brown thrown in as well. His default head has a calm yet alert look about him. The eyes were done very well. I also like how his ears turned out. There are sculpted paws which you will see further down.
Poor Timber has some scars on his face.
His alternate head is fierce. With eyes narrowed, ears pulled back and bearing his teeth, you better stay clear if you know what's good for you. I'm not sure about the black outline of his mouth. It looks a little out of place.
Timber has great articulation! He's got a dumbbell joint "upper" neck, up and down hinge at the "lower" neck, ball joint torso, ball hinge tail, ball joints at the upper part of the legs, swivel hinge "elbow", hinge at the middle portion of the legs and ankle hinge and pivot. Yes this wolf has ankle pivot too! He can look up and down pretty well. He can only turn his head a little bit. He can spread his legs a little bit. The hinge at the middle part of his legs can go both ways.
Check out all of the pics to see what he can do. The following two show how much Timber can look down and up.
And this is how much Timber can turn his body.
As for Snake Eyes's articulation. He's got a ball hinge upper neck, ball joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge right wrist, swivel and up and down hinge left wrist, ab crunch, ball joint torso, ball joint hips with drop down hinge, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. His vest restricts him from bending forward and back.
Comparison shots.
This is a great set! I'm not so hot about Snake Eyes for the bulkiness of his vest. He's still a good figure and the weapons are nice. Timber is the star. Great sculpt and great articulation! Thanks for viewing!

The black outline around Timber's mouth is correct, that is his lips and canine lips are black.
