Here's a look at the new Marvel Legends Mister Sinister.
Before we get to that I'll like to thank you for your comments and messages. There were several requests to brighten the photos up a bit. This is not the first time I'm hearing of it actually... was just lazy to make changes... Setup and settings will take some adjustment but I hope you'll find these photos a bit better.
Note that the blue of his body should be of a darker tone like you see in the following pic.
Mister Sinister is yet another great figure from this series. I love the size and bulk of him. He's big and menacing. He's got a great head sculpt. Very Sinister like. I think they captured his essence well. You just know he has an evil intent. The diamond on his head was sculpted, as were his teeth. I'm not too pleased with the paint. His lips are lacking some black outline on his left side. It throws his look off a little bit. The body is new. It looks very nice with line detail and the metallic blue finish. The belt is a separate piece inserted at the waist area. The boots are shiny and mostly smooth with just some creases visible at the sides at the knees.
His cape is made up of two layers of "strips". The strips on both layers are fixed. Some strips are separate while others overlap and sculpted together. The shape of the cape is nice but I would have preferred it to be more uniform, that is hanging straight down and with less big gaps. The layers are flexible but not flexible enough. If he does a low pose for example the layer touching the ground will push back against the figure. I would have liked if they could have given him the soft strips like on the Toy Biz figure. That way he may be able to sit down. Another thing is the cape weighs him down and you'll find that he tends to lean back.
He does not come with any accessories. The included BAF part is the right arm of Wendigo.
Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hill shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel where the top of his boots are, double jointed knees, ankle swivel, and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down decently. It's not great but it's sufficient. The shoulder pads hinders him from raising his arms straight up. The ab crunch allows two clicks forward and one click back. He's able to spread his legs pretty wide. The knees on my figure are loose which made posing more troublesome than it should be. The cape gets in the way of some low poses.
Comparison shots.
Great figure! Thanks for viewing!

Wow man, such great pictures. Loving the new background. Think we could get retro cyclops next?
Thanks! Cyclops is up now.
