Marvel Legends Series Death's Head II

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Death's Head II.

Death's Head (DH) I know. Death's Head II (DHII) is another matter. I vaguely recall seeing the comic on the rack but I never picked it up. I did a quick search online. It seems DHII was once a cyborg called Minion and he killed and assimilated DH. DH's personality took over and thus became DHII.

DHII looks impressive. I really like the size of him. He is a big guy after all. He reuses majority of the Colossus (Warlock BAF) body. The right arm, left forearm and lower legs are new. The gold bands on his forearms and legs were sculpted. The cords around his waist is a separate piece. One of DHII abilities is that he is able to morph his right arm into various weapons. In this case they gave him a huge cannon. I love the size and sculpted detail of it. Metallic blue paint was applied on his upper torso and thighs to give his body that metallic look and to go along with his metal arms. I would have liked if the applied some on his back as well. He's got a great head sculpt. Underneath his cracked and damaged mask you can see the stretched and scarred tissue. The teeth were also sculpted. Great stuff! There's great detail for his "hair". It is comprised of cords and cables and it has some black shading on it. Very nice!

A close-up of the head. Great sculpt and awesome detail!

The same can be said of the cannon on his arm. It's made to look even better with the paint which transitions from chrome to gun metal. Very nice!

Accessories. He only comes with an alternate left pointing hand. The hinge joint on mine was very stiff and it took some effort to get it to move. There is no BAF part included with him.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, swivel hinge left wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look down but not up due to his hair.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! I didn't expect to like him as much as I do. Thanks for viewing!
