Marvel Legends Series What If...? The Watcher BAF

After getting postponed a few times, finally here's a look at the Marvel Legends Watcher BAF

First the parts list:

This here is the casual Watcher. Something for the cursed image album. Lol. I wanted to show you how he looks like underneath the robes. He actually has good articulation. Leg articulation will be fully restricted once the robes go on. There's a groove at his abs area. There's a shallow peg in the robes which fits into the area so the robes don't move around too much.

Here's The Watcher fully attired. When putting him together you'll want to put the cape over the collar piece so it will stay in place better. The collar piece doesn't peg on well in his back. He's wearing full blue robes with a high collar and cape. I like the look. The flowing robes and cape give him a mystical sort of appearance. And he looks regal with the gold plate on his chest and the gold band on his left forearm. The gold on the plate was painted on. You'll want to be careful with it as the paint can chip off. Like what happened with mine... The robes and cape have some shading in them. The upper portion of his attire is a lighter blue and it gets darker towards his legs. The inside of his cape is textured. I forgot to take a pic of that.

The Watcher has a a nice head sculpt. He wears a serious look on his face, like he always does. There's quite a bit of facial lines on his face. I like that there's some brown shading which helps bring out the sculpt. His eyes are all white in colour. With the brown shading around them they stand out very well. He is quite tanned, which is how he appeared in the show. I would have preferred a lighter skin tone for him.

Articulation. He's got a dumbbell joint head, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbow for the right arm, bicep swivel and double jointed elbows for the left arm, swivel hinge wrists, diaphragm joint, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down decently, and can tilt his head. The right elbow can bend a little past ninety degrees. There's good range for the left elbow. He can bend forward and back just a little. There's more range to the sides. There seems to be a defect with my figure. The diaphragm joint keeps wanting to spring back to the middle. Leg articulation is restricted with the robes on.

Comparison shots.

The Watcher is a great figure. I love the look. The restricted leg articulation was expected. Thanks for viewing!
