Marvel Legends Series Disney+ Baron Zemo & Winter Soldier

Longing, rusted, seventeen, daybreak, furnace, nine, benign, homecoming, one, freight car.

I think the majority of us liked Baron Zemo in the show. And I suspect a lot of us will like this figure of him. Hasbro did a great job with it. He has an excellent head sculpt. The likeness is spot on. It's like he stepped right out from the screen. I can imagine him talking just by simply looking at him. There's good detail for his hair. I'm not sure about the purplish shading in it though. It's an odd colour for them to use. Zemo is dressed in a long overcoat. There's some nice detail on it. There's some fur detail at the collar and it has some dark shading in it. My pics are a little bright this time round so you may not be able to make it it out. Sorry about that. You can make out the seams on the sleeves. The arms by the way are new. And so too the torso and crotch piece. There's quite a bit of creases and wrinkles on his shirt. The legs reuses those from the Chameleon body. The default hands are a right gripping hand and a left finger pointing hand. Both have swivel and up and down hinge articulation.

Accessories. He comes with an alternate masked head, a pair of fists, a gold pistol and the Winter Soldier book. The fists have the usual swivel and hinge articulation. The included part for the flight gear is the right outer wing piece.

The masked head is a little on the small side. It looks good though. I really like the sculpted pattern on it. And the eyes have the same intensity as on the unmasked head. He looks quite menacing.

The Winter Soldier book is worn and is dirt covered like how it should be.

A closer look at his gold pistol. I don't recall him using it in the show.

Nest up, the Winter Soldier.

Someone cleaned up nicely. I like the short hair and cleaner look Bucky spots in the show. The figure looks good. The likeness is decent. He reminds me more of Arnold Schawarzenegger though, especially when viewed directly from the front. The Terminator anyone? Lol. The eyes and lips were well painted. The five o'clock shadow appears quite natural on his face. The body is all new. Hasbro did a great job with his jacket. It's leather like, has some nice sculpted detail on it and is textured. It actually looks more worn than how it appears in the show. The jacket is not just a single colour and has different shades of blue on it. The sides of the jacket is black. The pants has a bit of sculpted design on them and have quite a bit of wrinkles. The boot are shiny to help differentiate them from the pants. The best part would have to be his metal arm. It has a metallic appearance and the gold line work on the sculpted design was very well done.

Some close-ups of his head. I really like that metal arm. I bet Rocket Raccoon likes it too.

I tried on the old masked head. It sits high on the neck as you can see. Pity.

Accessories. He only comes with an extra set of gun holding hands. It's disappointing he does not come with any weapons to use them with. The included part is the right inner wing piece of the flight gear.

Articulation

Baron Zemo has a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge for the default hands, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down quite well. Just that there'll be a noticeable gap when doing so, especially with the masked head. The wrist hinge are restricted by the sleeves. He can bend forward decently. He cannot bend back as much due to his coat. Leg articulation is also hindered by his coat and he cannot do low poses.

Winter Soldier has a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down decently. He cannot look down as much where the extended collar is. The ab crunch allows one solid click forward and about three quarters of a click back. This is one of the rare cases a figure can bend forward more than he can bend back. The range of the elbows and knees is good.

Comparison shots.

Baron Zemo is a great figure! I really like the head sculpt. Winter Soldier is good too. He just needs some weapons. Thanks for viewing!

More great figures. Glad they made Zemo. Daniel Bruhl is an awesome actor.
