Marvel Legends Series Polaris

Someone with a "magnetic" personality this Valentine's Day. I know I know... I can hear the groans...

Polaris, daughter of Magneto is in one of her modern costumes. I recall she wore this during the War of Kings arc. I like how the head turned out, especially the hair. Great sculpted detail and you gotta love the black shading. She wears a metallic green tiara. Her eyes and lips too are metallic green. The paint apps are good here, and also on the body which reuses the Kate Bishop mould. The flesh tone was well painted on. The lines are clean and straight, as are for the design for her boots. I think the dark green of her costume is too dark and would have preferred a lighter tone. The bracers on her forearms are separate pieces.

Accessories. She comes with her cape and a pair of ability effect pieces. The cape is the same one that came with Valkyrie from the Toys'R'Us two-pack. The cape is soft and flexible and tends to come off when posing. The effect pieces are the same ones we've seen with the likes of Havok from the Juggernaut wave. The clip is a little loose on her wrists. The included BAF part is the right leg of Warlock.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down well. Looking up is restricted due to her hair. She is able to cock her head.

Comparison shots.

Nice figure. Thanks for viewing!

Enjoyed your review of every characters. Keep 'em coming! Just wondering I can't seem to find your review of BAF Juggernaut wave x-men series line.

Thanks! I did not review the Juggernaut wave. It's highly unlikely I'll get to them at this point.
