Marvel Legends Series 3.75" Flight Tech Falcon (Captain America: Civil War)

Sticking with the MCU, this time of the 3.75" scale variety. Here's a look at Falcon.

A word about the colours of the figure first. They appear richer in the images due to the lighting. He looks more bland in hand. The torso was made of a shiny plastic and is of a similar tone to the upper portion of his pants. The shiny plastic works here as he wears quite a bit of "armour" and it helps differentiate it from his suit. A bit more paint detail and it'll look really good. There's great sculpted detail on his suit. Metallic gun metal paint was used for the lower portion of his legs. I think it makes him look like he has cyborg legs. The paint apps are good. The red and metallic silver areas were well done. He's missing some paint detail on his left forearm. I like that they painted the buckles on his belt. The head sculpt is good and has a good likeness. The goggles were sculpted. The hair is textured.

Accessories. He comes with an alternate goggles less head, a flight pack, a flight pack with wings, Redwing, a stand and jet effect for Redwing. I wish they included some guns for him.

I got a head with poorly painted eyes. He's looking up, as if he's rolling his eyes. Aside from that he looks alright.

Both flight packs are of the same sculpt and have great detail. I especially like what they did for cavity for Redwing. It has great sculpted detail and has metallic paint on it. Interestingly the flight packs were coloured differently. The one without wings is matte dark grey whereas the pack with wings is metallic gun metal. I think the matte one works better.

Falcon has to stand leaning forward with the wings equipped, otherwise he'll fall backwards. The wings have an impressive wingspan. The colour tones on it are quite light. I would have preferred them in a darker tone.

The wings are able to move up and down. Both wings will move together. The joints for them are quite tight and are able to hold the position you leave them at. The below is the maximum the wings can be raised.

Here he is with Redwing. The stand will peg into either flight pack and will stay on quite securely. The other end has a ball joint and pegs into Redwing. I had some difficulty with this. Removing it is easier. The stand does its job but I don't really like it as I can't find a nice position to put Redwing.

Redwing looks great. I like that they used metallic paint for it. The jet effect piece pegs into the back and looks good too.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, waist rotation, ball hips, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well which is great for flying poses.

Comparison shots.

Falcon is a decent figure. He is as expected of a 3.75" figure these days. I wish they had more articulation. I do like the accessories he comes with. He just needs some guns. Thanks for viewing!
