WWE Create a Superstar Gladiator Set (Triple H)

Bow down to the, bow down to the King.

I was really curious about this series. I like to be able to customise the look of characters and this does just that. I decided on the Gladiator set as it offered more interesting, usable parts to me. The Lucha set looks fun too.

The following are some other figures in the line. There are more available so do check them out online. Click images to enlarge.

The figure comprises of several interchangeable parts as you can see in the following pic. Assembly and disassembly is very easy. You can mix and match the parts from other figures to make even more interesting characters.

Starting out with a basic wrestler's look. Triple H's head is included and looks to be the same one we've seen with some other figures of Triple H with the short hair. The body has a nice sculpt. I don't think he's that well toned these days but that isn't a problem. This doesn't necessarily have to be Triple H and you can make this figure into anybody you want. One minor issue I do have is the legs. There's a visible slit on his inner thighs for the knee joints. They could probably have covered that up.

Accessories. There's a silver helmet, a bronze coloured face plate, an armoured torso, cloth wrapped feet, belt and loin cloth, a cape and a shield. The face plate does not fit very well. The armour pieces could use more paint. I like the skull deco on the loin cloth and shield.

He also comes with a tattoo sheet for his body.

He's got pretty good articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, waist rotation, ball hips, knee hinge, calf swivel and ankle hinge. He can look up and down quite decently with a normal head.

Comparison shots. His height is the same as other Tripe H figures. His skin tone is more tan, probably to better suit the Gladiator persona.

I think this is a fun figure to play around. If budget allows I might get more. Thanks for viewing!

I've been cherry-picking the line for the more fantasy/warrior/MOTU-ish figures and they really are a lot of fun. The Lucha set is really great (if you want a Hawkman-style figure) and the Sheamus and Rock figures are fun. The real surprise for me was the Undertaker figure, though. He's a super-cool zombie/skeleton/deadman figure that's a lot of fun.
