The last post for the year is of the Star Wars The Black Series 6" Princess Leia. How I wish it were under different circumstances. I was sad to hear the news that Carrie Fisher had passed away. And then to hear that her mother, Debbie Reynolds passed away just a day later... it's very heartbreaking. Both were outstanding individuals.

Star Wars The Black Series 6" Director Krennic & Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader (Rogue One)

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was okay. It felt kinda lacking. I think it just needed a bit more urgency. The first third of the movie is choppy and slow. Thankfully it gets better after that. The characters again are okay but didn't really give me that extra "I must get that figure" feeling. If I had to pick one it'll probably be Jyn. There's lots of great action and the visuals are stunning. I love the final battle scene. And Darth Vader was great! There are several cameos and easter eggs so do look out for them. Right, now here's a look at two characters from the movie, Director Krennic and the Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader.

I have great. I have time. Ugh! Great time! Lol! Not the best wording I know but yeah I had a great time at Anime Festival Asia 2016 (AFA2016) which concluded over the weekend. The event was once again held at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre and we had three days of fun and excitement!

Disney's MOANA Review

Disney rarely disappoints when it comes to their animated features and Moana is set to be another hit. It is a fun, entertaining adventure movie with a kick ass heroine. The visuals are stunning. The music is wonderful and I dare say there will be a couple of songs you will soon be humming to.

Disney's MOANA Festive Light Up Event at the Art Science Museum

Just some pics from the festive light up event at the Art Science Museum with Disney's Moana yesterday evening. Auli'i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Osnat Shurer (Producer), Griselda Sastrawinata (Visual Developement Artist) and Roger Lee (Lighting Artist) were on hand to do the honours for the light up and help kick off the Holiday Season.

A press conference was held earlier today at Marina Bay Sands for Disney's latest upcoming animated feature, "Moana". Moana is about an adventurous teenager who is inspired to leave the safety and security of her island on a daring journey to save her people. In attendance at the press conference were Auli'i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Osnat Shurer (Producer), Roger Lee (Lighting Artist) and Griselda Sastrawinata (Visual Devlopement Artist).

Collecting Magic: From Stamps to Wands

I visited the Collecting Magic: From Stamps to Wands Exhibition today which is being held at the Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) from now till 30 June 2017. The event features Harry Potter stamps from around the world and also movie memorabilia. I must say SPM is doing a good job of getting visitors to revisit. Or I should say getting me to revisit. They have held a number of interesting exhibitions the past couple of years. I recall the Star Wars, DC Super Heroes and Snoopy ones just to name a few.

DOCTOR STRANGE Movie Review

"You wonder what I see in your future?". That's easy! I foresee you watching Dr Strange at the first opportunity. There has never been a Marvel movie quite like this one and you certainly don't want to miss it! I highly recommend catching it in 3D. The third edition of GameStart has concluded, bringing an end to three days of fun and exciting gaming activities. The event continues to draw the crowds and the halls were packed as attendees got to try out some of the new and upcoming games, as well as witness some pulsating Esports action. And with several new activities to participate in there was even more reason to attend.
