Marvel Legends Series Gamerverse Miles Morales Spider-man (Armadillo BAF)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Series Gamerverse Miles Morales.

Miles Morales is based on the the PS5 Spider-man game of the same name. Would you believe I haven't played it yet? I'm still waiting for a significant discount on it. Hopefully that will happen at the end of the year. I did play the original Spider-man game and I went through some Youtube videos of Miles so I have an idea of what's up.

Miles is on an all new body. He's taller than the one from the Space Venom wave. I guess he's an older teen in game. The costume is highly detailed. The amount of texturing is impressive. Practically the whole figure is textured. Great stuff! You can make out the fabric of the mask. It has a circular sort of pattern in addition to the grid-like texture. The eyes are just okay on my figure. There's some red bleeding onto the white. The lines and spider logo were all sculpted. The sculpt runs into the ab joint so it doesn't break when he bends backwards. That's not the case for the back unfortunately. The front two legs will get broken when he bends forward. The paint apps for the red lines was very well done. There's some some sculpted detail on the black areas. You can make out the seams and other design elements.

Some close-ups of his head. There's a noticeable cut at the base of his neck. The neck portion was attached on rather than sculpted. It is quite stable and you can swap on heads with no issues. The lines on his neck don't match up with the lines on his costume. Fortunately it's not too noticeable.

Accessories. He comes with an unmasked head, a set of fists, a set of wall crawling hands and a set of bioelectric hands. Together with the web shooting hands on the figure it's a full set of Spider-man hands! This hardly ever happens! The included BAF part is the right leg of Armadillo.

The unmasked head is okay. Based on images online there is some likeness. The likeness is better when viewed from an angle. I think the skin tone needs to be a little lighter. The eyes and lips were well done, and there's good detail for his hair.

Here's how the head compares with some previous unmasked heads. This head sculpt looks like an older version of the Miles from the Space Venom wave.

Here's a closer look at the bioelectric hands. Translucent yellow plastic was used. The detail of his costume is present on them. You can make out the lines and everything. Flowing out are some streaks of bioelectricity. It's nice and they help sell the effect.

The electric hands may be used with Electro.

Just to show the back of his hands. His hands are protected with a tougher looking material. It won't hurt as much when he punches someone. I can't say the same for whoever is on the receiving end.

Articulation. He's got a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down decently. It's not as much as I would have liked. The elbows and knees have good range. The ab crunch allows one click forward and one click back.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! Thanks for viewing!

Hopefully we'll get a new version of Peter's advanced suit to go along with this. The other figure is nice, but it is in dire need of an upgrade.
