LEGO The Simpsons Minifigures Wave 1

Woo-hoo! The LEGO The Simpsons Minifigures are here! They actually showed up locally a couple of weeks back. The figures come in blind bags. My "touch" is no where near as good as some other people and most of the boxes I saw had already been picked so I decided to get a set from a seller to save myself the trouble.

I love these figures! They are so cool! They each have unique head sculpts and the printed detail is sharp. The likeness is very good. They each come with a base and character relevant accessories. Homer has a doughnut and remote. Bart has a skateboard and Lisa, her saxophone and so on.

For some accessories you need to have watched the series to know why they have it. Maggie's bear once belonged to Mr Burns who named it Bobo and he wanted it back. It's probably why she has a worried look on her face. The three-eyed fish Mr Burns is carrying was the result of pollution in the river from his power plant. The Choo-Choo card Ralph has was given to him by Lisa who only gave it to him out of sympathy. While in charge of the comic book store with Bart, Millhouse ordered a lot of issues of the Biclops comic which didn't sell.

There are 16 figures to collect in this first wave. Click on images to enlarge.

They are so much fun!

Exxxcellent! Hopefully we'll get more waves soon. Thanks for viewing!
