Marvel Legends Series Crimson Dynamo BAF

Here's a look at the Crimson Dynamo BAF. Finally!

First the parts list:

Head - Winter Soldier
Torso, Shoulder Armour and back plating - Yelena Belova
Right Arm - Crossbones
Left Arm - Red Guardian
Right Leg - Spymaster
Left Leg - Black Widow

According to Wiki this here is the eighth Crimson Dynamo, Gennady Gavrilov. He's a college student who found the helmet for the armour and unknowingly had control of it. He would find out about it later on and get into a few skirmishes. There's not much else I could find about him. If you know further details of the character do share.

Crimson Dynamo is a great looking figure. I love his size and bulk. He's imposing and also quite menacing. He's heavily armoured as you can see. Check out those shoulder armour. Going by the cracks and dents in them it's seen it's share of battles. That's the only place with signs of damage though, the rest of his body is clean. I'm okay with that. Wouldn't want to mess up the gorgeous shiny silver. Lol. There are bluish translucent sections on his forearm bracers. From images online those areas light up and this helps to illustrate that to some extent. The star on his chest was painted to make it seem like it's glowing. Similarly the thruster on his back has signs that's it's in use. There's nice sculpted detail on his upper body which is all new. The legs reuses those from Iron Monger.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint upper neck, a ball joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The shoulder armour may be moved up and down to allow for a little more arm articulation. With the two ball joints at the neck he can look up and down very well. And also cock his head. The shoulder armour restricts him from raising his arms fully. The torso joint offers a good range of motion.

Comparison shots.

Crimson Dynamo has some limitations with the articulation but it's overall a great figure! Thanks for viewing!
