S.H.Figuarts Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulk

Here's a look at the S.H.Figuarts Hulk.

This Hulk figure is based on his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Without prior knowledge you might not think so. For one there's not much likeness in the head sculpt. He reminds me more of Spock from Star Trek if anything, especially with those thick painted eyebrows. The hair was done very well though. And I like the sculpted teeth. The body looks okay. I like the sculpted muscles which are well fleshed out with the darker green shading. I quite like the colours of his skin. It's a mix of light green and yellow. I think it's too bright though. It gives him an animated type of appearance rather than from a live action movie. The pants are nice. They even have the Avengers logo on both sides.

Accessories. He comes with an additional angry bellowing head and a pair of open hands. The angry expression is not doing it for me. It doesn't strike me as he's angry. It's more like he's just opening his mouth wide.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint on the upper and lower neck, dumbbell joints in the shoulder with hinge on the outer ball, chest expansion, double jointed elbows, dumbbell wrists, torso pivot, waist rotation, peg hinge hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, ankle hinge and pivot and toe hinge. There's not much rotation at the waist. Gaps appear especially on the upper body in some poses.

Comparison shots. He's slightly shorter than the Marvel Legends version. I think he fits in fine with them.

This won't be a top pick for an Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulk figure. As a general Hulk figure however, I think it's great. I love the articulation despite the gaps. Thanks for viewing!
