Marvel Select Iron Man Hulkbuster Disney Store Exclusive

Finally got my Marvel Select Hulkbuster! It's a Disney Store Exclusive but apparently you can also get it from the Marvel Store. Thanks to a friend for helping me get one! 

Marvel Legends has been making all the noise in recent days. Let's not forget about Marvel Select and this awesome Hulkbuster figure! It's a beauty! It's got good bulk and proportions, and has lots of amazing detail. Check out the sculpt on his shoulder pads, midriff and lower back. He's got a nice chunk of plating protecting his shins. I especially love all the sculpted bolts and rivets. Simply awesome! I love the metallic red paint. Shame it's going to be ruined once he goes into battle with the Hulk. The paint application is good overall. It does have some scuff marks, notably on the gold areas. And there's some silver bleeding onto the the red as well. There are two areas I'm not too happy with. One is the head which is sitting too deep in his torso. The other is his rather straight left hand. While it allows him to do a repulsor blast, I would rather it were a fist. Still, it's an awesome figure!

Articulation. He's got neck rotation, ball joint shoulder pads, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, swivel hinge elbows, ball wrists, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, swivel hinge knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The head is very difficult to rotate. I've scratched the head and it has a dent or two due to my doing. The best is not to turn it if there's no need. The shoulder pads allow for a good range of arm articulation, except for lifting them straight up. They can be removed if you desire. They actually come off quite easily. 

Comparison shots. He fits well enough with Marvel Legends figures. He's around the same height as the Hulk figures. I would have liked him a bit bigger. Compared with Marvel Select Hulks he's much too short.
