Beware The Creeper.
The Creeper, aka "yellow skin wacky man" is not a character I'm familiar with. I only came to know of him through the show. He shares a similar origin with the Joker. He was exposed to laughing gas and then got thrown into a vat of chemicals. His body changed colour and he gained enhanced abilities as a result. The figure looks pretty accurate to how he appears. He's got a great head sculpt. I think it's a little too big. His lower jaw protrudes over the upper jaw. It looks like he's biting down trying to contain his laughter. The hair was well done. There's just a little paint slop at the curls. He wears a huge furry "cape". I'm not too sure what it's called. It's not removable. It's quite heavy and he tends to fall backwards. You'll want to be careful of the tips as they are quite pointy. Another area you want to be careful of are the black tips of his gloves and boots. They too are pointy.
The accessories are based on the "Beware The Creeper" episode. He comes with two extra sets of interchangeable hands, one gripping and one open set. There's also a cue stick, a Batman mask, a rat and a base and stand.
The Batman mask is seen in the store where he goes to pick out his costume. He's unable to wear it. It'll make for a fun prop.
Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, forearm swivel, swivel hinge wrists, waist rotation, peg hinge hips, knee hinge, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can't look up much due to the fur. He can look down well. He cannot raise his legs up much. I tried a little too hard while posing and made bumps at the edges of his trunks. The hinges at his hips , knees and ankles are very loose on my figure and made posing troublesome.
Comparison shots. I think the skin tone of this figure is off. I feel it's too light. I prefer the colour of the old Kenner figure.
A good looking figure. I'm not too happy with some of the articulation, especially with how little he can raise his legs. The loose joints don't help either. Thanks for viewing!

we have the old original figure... (the pic of the three versions... we have never seen the one on the right... cool-looking)...
Jack Ryder made for an interesting "Villain / Hero"... (as a kid loved Joker issue # 3 many years later we finally got that comic book signed)...
.... we remember DC introducing him in the 70's....
The one on the right is the DCUC figure.
Very cool! Never seen this one before.
