It's going to get a little windy.
This figure is of Whirlwind in his classic look. He's not as bulky as I thought he will be. The body reuses the Piledriver body. It's painted with metallic silver. His trunks and boots are olive green while his armour was painted with metallic paint and is a of a different shade of green. They should really be the same.
A close-up of his helmet. There's no head stuck inside in case you're wondering. It's just the one piece. His eyes were well painted. His mouth was sculpted as if he's biting the upper area of the mouth slid. That's on close inspection. When you see him from a distance it looks like he's got a normal mouth. He wears saw blades on his wrists. They were painted with a dull metallic grey.
The body armour can be removed. With the silver and green colours he's already spotting I'm sure someone will come up with a Kree Soldier custom.
Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, elbow hinge, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, double jointed knees and ankle swivel and hinge. The way his helmet is designed, he can only turn his head about thirty degrees each side. It can be turned further if you forced it but it'll cause minor surface scratches in the paint.
Comparison shots.
Whirlwind is a decent figure. Another villain to the collection and another step closer to storming the Avengers HQ. Thanks for viewing!
