75 Years of Batman

I'm sure most of you already know, this year marks the 75th Anniversary of Batman. What you may not know is what celebratory activities and merchandise are in store for the occasion here in Singapore. As it turns out there's a ton of stuff. Read on to find out. 

A press conference by Pacific Licensing Studio (PLS) and Warner Bros. was held yesterday, 23 April 2014 at the Highlander Bar & Restaurant. Mr Neal Rudge, Director of PLS briefed us.

Here's a summary of what's in store:

1) Fly with the Super Heroes on board the Singapore Cable Car.

2) Limited Edition DC Justice League & Batman 75th Anniversary MyStamp Collection by Singpost

3) DC Comics Super Heroes Exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum

4) Grand Opening of the 5th DC Comics Super Heroes store at Orchard Gateway. Exclusive 75th Batman merchandise to be launched in DC stores by mid May.

5) Right Here Messenger app by Right Here Media.

6) New shows and seasons of DC cartoons and movies to be shown on Toonami (Starhub Channel 315)

7) Heroes and Villains of Gotham City Cosplay Competition in December. Organised by Movie Mania.

8) First ever Batmobile Hologram exhibition in December

Phew! So what are you looking forward to most? Personally I can't wait to check out the various exhibitions. And finally Beware the Batman will be screened soon! I've been wanting to watch it.
