Marvel Legends Series Man-Thing & Sasquatch BAFs

A couple of monsters.

First up Man-Thing. The parts list is as follows:

Head - Daredevil
Torso - Jessica Jones
Left Arm - Punisher
Right Arm - Bullseye
Left Leg - Elektra
Right Leg - Blade

Man-Thing is a great looking figure. I like the size and bulk of him. I found the Toy Biz version a little too scrawny and I think this is better. The body is new. There's a great amount swampy, plant detail on him. It's not just vines you see on him. Take a closer look and you can make out roots, leaves, moss and even mushrooms on him. Very nice! And thanks to the light brownish tone and dark green colours applied he does not look too dull. There is also considerable amount of dark shading done on which helps in that aspect. He's got a great head sculpt. I especially like his long, three-prong, thick root like "eyebrows". There's nice sculpted detail on it and also a good amount of shading. His red eyes stand out well in the recess of his "eyebrows".

Just to show you some of the different things you can find on Man-Thing's body. There are leaves.

And also mushrooms and fungi.

Sasquatch is up next. Here's the parts list:

Head - Deadpool (X-Force)
Torso - X-23
Left Arm - Deathlok
Right Arm - Domino
Left Leg - Cable
Right Leg - Paladin

Finally another member of Alpha Flight. It only took like five years to get another classic core member. (Puck being the last one)... Hopefully the next one won't take as long. This is another great upgrade over the Toy Biz version. I love the size and bulk of this. And I very much prefer the head sculpt. I like the "flatter" overall shape. And also the "hair" on top. The body is all new. There's a great amount of fur sculpted on. He is shaggier at the forearms and calves. The "loin cloth" piece is flexible and does not interfere with leg articulation. They did a great job with the colour of his fur. I love the varying and transitioning tones. I also like that they painted his nails.

Articulation

Sasquatch has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look down okay. Up not so much due to his "hair". The elbows bend less than ninety degrees. The ab crunch allows one click forward and one click back.

Man-Thing has a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, swivel hinge wrists, ab crumch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can hardly look up or down. He also cannot look to the sides. The head rotates on the ball. The ab crunch allows one click forward and one click backwards. The ankle pivot is a little hindered by the vines at his calves.

Comparison shots. I seemed to have misplaced the Toy Biz Man-Thing so I'm unable to show you that comparison.

The two are nice upgrades and great additions to the collection. Thanks for viewing!
