Marvel Legends Series Deathlok (Sasquatch BAF)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Deathlok.

There have been several Deathloks in the Marvel Universe. I wasn't sure which one this figure is based on so I compared it to pics online. I found out and have checked with others that this is Deathlok Prime. I'm going to use him as most any Deathlok since they look so similar.

Deathlok Prime is a great looking figure. They did a great job with the head sculpt. The flesh side in particular looks really good and has lots of great detail. His flesh is textured and has several dents and chips in it. There's a section with a big layer missing and you can see the tissue underneath. I think they nailed the colour of his flesh. It's greyish brown with a bit of greenish, yellowish wash on it. Very nice! The body is new and has a good size and bulk for the character. It has lots of great detail. The lines on his cybernetic arms and legs were sculpted. So too the yellow lines and the shape of the American flag on his attire. There are also creases on it. There's a tube plugged into his chest which can be pulled out. The other end is connected to a device on the back of his belt and is not removable. The belt is a separate piece. He carries a "pack" on his back. It's supposed to be built in but is removable on the figure. It too has nice sculpted design detail and is textured in places. It's like it got scorched in those areas. There are also scratches and slash marks on it suggesting it has been through a lot.

A close-up of his head. Hello Ugly! Great head sculpt! Here you can better see the pus like yellow of his dead flesh.

Accessories. He comes with a gatling type gun, a pistol and an ammo belt. Both guns have nice sculpted detail on them and are gun metal in colour. The BAF part is the left arm of Sasquatch.

The ammo belt may be attached to the gatling gun. The ammo belt is pretty long and may get in the way of poses.

He can only hold the guns in his right hand. The wrist joint is loose on my figure, hence the gatling gun tends to turn to one side.

Cable can always use more weapons so I had him borrow the gatling gun for a bit. He too can hold it well.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge right wrist, swivel hinge left wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. His computer pack restricts him from lifting his arms up straight fully. The ab crunch allows one and a half clicks forwards and half click back.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! I'll probably need one more to custom an X-Force version. Thanks for viewing!
