Marvel Universe Cloak (Marvel Knights)

I can't believe we got this figure. I mean that both in a good and bad way.

Cloak is on the old Human Torch / Quicksilver base body... Wasn't he on the Cyclops mold in the toy shows? Maybe I recalled wrongly...  anyway less said the better. The head sculpt is nice. His face is sculpted inside the hood. There's some black shading on the top half of his face to give it the appearance of being in the shadow. The shading is a bit of a mess and makes his face look dirt covered on close inspection. His silver eyes stand out and gives him a creepy, mysterious look. The hood and cape are very nice. Both are textured and have good paint. He has trouble standing and tends to fall backwards due to the cape.

If we're going to get the old base body, may be he should have been packed in with Dagger like this. It would have saved us the trouble of looking for two figures.

Here's a close-up of his head.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, single hinge elbows, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, double jointed knees and swivel hinge ankles.

I would have liked if he had a bigger cloak. Then we can do something like this.

A quick comparison shot.

Disappointed about the base body. Luckily for the great head sculpt and cape otherwise I would be even more unhappy. Thanks for viewing!
