This is now on! I went down today for a look. There was already a crowd when I got there. Here's the view from the top.
There are number of events going on during the weekends. Here's the event schedule:

You can catch Banshee and the Gundam Girls. Note their appearance times.
These are the Limited Edition items which you can purchase this year. While stocks last!
The Gundam Breaker challenge is being held at the event. Gundam Breaker is a Playstation game which lets you build and pilot your Gundam. If you've been wanting to try out the game, here's a great opportunity. And maybe you can win some prizes.
Now for the displays. One of the highlights is the 3D Mapping Booth. It's very cool. Some guys were talking behind me so I removed the sound. Sorry about that.
And around the area are several holographic displays.

All the displays are well decorated.
