Star Wars The Black Series Aurra Sing (The Clone Wars)

A second consecutive character dressed in orange. What were the odds.

Aurra Sing needs little introduction. She's one of the most ruthless bounty hunters around. One of the most recognisable too. I mean she's a unicorn! I'm just kidding obviously. With that antenna sticking out of her head she does resembles one. The antenna is quite secure and has a bit of flexibility to it. Still you'll want to be very careful not to break it. Head swaps will prove a chore. She has a great head sculpt. I think they captured her look really well. The eyes were well done. So too the dark patches around them and her lips. Her hair has good detail. I'm not liking the blond highlights. This is one of the few instances where I think it would look better if they kept it to a single colour. She wears a plain skintight orange suit. You can make out some wrinkles on it and a bit of muscle definition through it. Shiny plastic was used for the upper torso. There's a bit of colour difference compared to the matte look of the rest of her suit. The bands on her arm and wrists were sculpted on. The vest and belt with holsters are separate pieces. I like that they applied some paint detail, especially on the belt.

Some close-ups of her face.

She looks like she's going to snap her long fingers the way they were sculpted.

She has some braids in her hair, and also some decorative beads.

She carries some equipment on her back. I'm not too sure what they are. Do let me know if you know. These were sculpted and are not removable.

Accessories. She comes with two blaster pistols, a slugthrower rifle and a strap for the rifle. I would have liked if she came with a lightsaber or two. Better yet a suitcase full of lightsabers, but I think that would be asking for too much.

The blaster pistols have dual triggers. She can hold them well and her fingers will slot nicely into the trigger rings. The pistols may be stored in the holsters.

The rifle is very long and has some nice detail on it. It looks too clean for my liking though and it could use a bit of paint detail. She doesn't have that good a grip for it but it's manageable. The strap has clips on both ends and may be attached to the rifle. They do not stay on securely enough and it tends to drop off when equipping or posing her. The strap has a couple of pouches on one end.

Articulation. She has a ball joint head, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel and up and down hinge wrists, ball joint torso, Y type ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. She can hardly look up or down. She is able to tilt her head. Head rotation is hindered by her hair. The elbows can bend a little more than ninety degrees. She cannot bend forward. She can bend back quite a bit and also tilt her body.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! She looks really nice. Thanks for viewing!
