Marvel Legends Series White Rabbit & Demogoblin BAF

Last two for this wave. Here's a look at White Rabbit and the Demogoblin BAF.

I don't know anything about White Rabbit to be honest. Despite that I find myself liking this figure. She looks great. I love her look and the colours. She really pops and she will add some colour to the display. She has awesome paint apps on her face. The eyes, whiskers, nose, lips, everything came out nice and clean. There's nice shape and detail for her hair and I like that it has some light brown shading in it. The rabbit ears extend out from her hair. They are not removable. I kinda want them to be so we can put them on other characters for some fun. The ears are textured which is great. The body is a mixture of old and new parts. The upper torso reuses Typhoid Mary's. The mid-section is new. It features a curved pattern on the front which is different from the straight pattern on the upper torso. You don't really notice the difference unless you're viewing it closely. The sleeves and jacket reuses that from Monica Rambeau. Her boots and feet are new. It's textured and has lots of fluffy detail on it.

The watch and chain is a separate piece pegged in and stuck on very securely. There seems to be a raised peg on the torso for where the watch sits. Modifying the torso looks like it will take some doing. I lack the customising skills so hopefully Hasbro will release a classic Emma Frost one day.

A close-up of her head.

Tried on some other heads. Both Emma's and MJ's head can fit.

Accessories. She comes with her umbrella and a gun fire effect piece. The included BAF part is the glider and a stand for the Demogoblin BAF.

The umbrella looks great. I like that they sculpted some detail at the end of the umbrella to make it seem like a gun barrel. Nice!

The gun fire effect piece may be used with weapons with slim barrels. For instance:

Next up Demogoblin. Here's the parts list:

Head - Vulture
Torso - Shang Chi
Right Arm - Superior Octopus
Left Arm - Superior Octopus
Right Leg - Spider Armor MK III
Left Leg - Velocity Suit
Glider and stand - White Rabbit

Would you believe that this is my first Demogoblin figure? I didn't get the previous version for some reason. It's a good thing as this BAF is a much better figure. He's got a great head sculpt. I especially like the teeth. Love that they did some shading for them, and also the gums, tongue and the area around the eyes. I also like how his bright orange eyes stand out. He really has a demonic look about him. The body reuses the Hobgoblin torso, arms and boots. The legs are from Bucky Cap. The overlay glove pieces and hands are new. The rusty chain bands on his wrists are separate pieces. The strap and belt is also a separate piece. It is removable.

The cape sticks out as shown below. It's probably due to a combination of the hood, cape and strap pressed together at that area causing it.

A comparison with the demonic head that came with Hobgoblin. I like the look of this new one better.

Accessories. He comes with his fiery glider and a stand. The glider has nice flaming detail on it. It has a demonic head in front and also claws. There are slots in the shape of his feet and also rings for his feet to go through. He can stay on his glider quite securely. The stand has a ball peg for which the glider attaches to and it can be positioned at several nice angles. He does not come with any pumpkin bombs unfortunately. Will have to see if Hobgoblin or Green Goblin can spare some.

The stand is able to hold the glider with the figure on it. And it can do so at an angle as well which is great! I forgot to take a proper pic of the stand. It is triangular in shape. One side is shorter than the other. The figure and glider collapse more easily on the shorter side.

Articulation

White Rabbit has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. She cannot look up due to her hair. She can only look down a bit. The bow tie prevents her from looking down more. She can hardly bend forwards or back. She can turn her torso to the sides and also slant a little.

Demogoblin has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He cannot look up or down due to the head and cape.

(I used a different umbrella. Not her's.)

Comparison shots.

Both great figures. I'm liking White Rabbit more than I thought I would.

Before I go I would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Thanks for viewing!

    1. I’m not sure we agree on “a couple of years ago.” ;-)
She first appeared in Marvel Team-Up #131 in 1983.

  3. I'm very anxious to see you review the new Doctor Doom figure! While it's an amazing figure, I can't get mine to stand up, because he continuously looks like he is rocked back on his heels. What do you do?

  4. Who is the robotic looking rabbit? I would love to add it to display with her, along with the purple bunny Plunderer from MOTU. Can anyone tell me what toyline the bunny is from?

  5. @Sampoerna - Stand Doom in such a way where the cape can help support him.

@David - The robotic rabbit is from the 90s New Batman Adventures Mad Hatter figure by Kenner.
