Marvel Legends Series Spider-Armour MK III & Velocity Suit Spider-man (Demogoblin BAF)

A couple of "Gamerverse" Spidey figures.

The MK III armour is one of Spidey's look I've been looking forward to. It featured in the Ends of the Earth arc in the comics before being a look you can acquire in the PS4 Spider-man game. The MK III is a good looking figure. The body is new and it has lots of great sculpted detail. Also it's textured in some areas. The shoulder armour were stuck on. They are flexible and will allow arm articulation. The belt is a separate piece.

Some close-ups. I'm a little annoyed about the blemishes on his shoulder armour.

The Velocity suit was first introduced in the PS4 game. As the name implies it gives Spider-man enhanced speed. The body here too is new. Almost all of the design elements was sculpted on. Check it out! Click images to enlarge.

Some close-ups.

Peter Parker's head may be used on both these figures.

Accessories

MK III comes with a "web-mask". It's great for shutting someone up. The included BAF part is the right leg of Demogoblin.

Velocity Spidey comes with a "web-jacket". For when he's webbed someone up. The included BAF part is the left leg of Demogoblin.

Webbing people up is what Spidey does often so I love that we got these accessories. The jacket unfortunately is on the small side and you'll find that it rests on the shoulders of most figures. I just barely managed to squeeze it on to J.J here. The "web-mask" is great and will fit and stay on the face of most normal sized characters. It is flexible so you can put in on larger characters, just that you'll need to find some way of keeping it in place.

Articulation

The MK III has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, a little bit of ankle swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. The shoulder armour is flexible and he can still extend his arms out to the sides. The design of the lower legs restricts all of the ankle articulation, especially the hinge.

Velocity Suit Spider-man has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can only bend forward a little, as illustrated in the following pic. And he can only arch back about the same amount.

And action!

Comparison shots. The MK III I feel is a little too small. I'm okay with the Velocity suit.

Both nice figures. Love the accessories! Thanks for viewing!
