C3 AFA Singapore 2017

C3 AFA Singapore 2017 is underway! I dropped by the event and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Quite a number of the booths were eye-catching and they really add to the experience. I had fun trying several games, performing simple tasks and collecting freebies, and checking out the various anime displays and toys.

Anime X Stamps Exhibition

Went down to check out the Anime X Stamps Exhibition which is happening from now till 1 April 2018 at the Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM). The exhibition did not disappoint. There was quite a lot to see. Numerous anime stamps are featured, and also toys, collectables, costumes, props, sketches and production notes. Pics within.

Thor: Ragnarok Review

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! I can't think of the last time I enjoyed a movie this much. This for me currently is the best superhero movie of the year. There was never a dull moment. It was fun, thoroughly entertaining and had a good dose of action. Just awesome!

Finished watching The Defenders recently. It was good. Loved it when they finally met and teamed up. I thought they played well off each other. My impression of Iron Fist has not improved much though. I found him irritating. Another thing is what happened to the Hand ninjas? I would have expected them to at least make an appearance. It was great seeing Daredevil back in action. So much so I decided to get to his review. And also Elektra.

Star Wars Day 2017 (Singapore): May the 4th be with You

Star Wars Day has come again! This year's event is now on till 6 May 2017 at the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. It runs from 3pm - 11pm daily. I went to check it out yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Especially the Garden Rhapsody: Star Wars Edition and the SaberTrees Installation.
