Marvel Legends Series A-Force Loki

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Loki from the A-Force box set.

Loki was at one time reborn as a female and this figure is based on that. It's a great looking figure but I can't help but feel a little annoyed as we still have not got a proper classic Loki as yet. Anyway she's got a great head sculpt. The paint apps are good and I love the colour tones, especially the dark red of her lips. Her eyes were well painted and there's also some green eye shadow. She's wearing a horned helm. There's some nice sculpted detail on it. The hair too has good detail. Though she did have the gold ornaments in the comics I feel they mess up her hair. They look like some debris she couldn't be bothered to remove. The body reuses Rogue's body minus the jacket and sleeve arms. The paint apps here again is good. Different tones of green are used and the scaly pattern of her armour came out very well. The belt is a separate piece and it too has good detail and good paint. The cape is the same one that came with Sif, and with it similar issues when posing.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She cannot look up or down. Looking to the sides is limited. She has the same issues with the cape as with Lady Sif. Raising her arms or extending them to the sides will cause it to look awkward.

Comparison shots.

Nice figure! I love how her armour came out. Thanks for viewing!
