Marvel Legends Infinite Series Black Widow

You probably figured she was up next. Yup, Black Widow rounds up the individual figures released for the Captain America Marvel Legends Infinite Series.

Black Widow is awesome. Hasbro did a great job with her. The head sculpt is spot on. She's got a very good likeness to how she appeared in the movies. The first couple of pics shows her with straight hair. She had this look in The Winter Soldier. The hair was well sculpted and it has some black shading in it too. The body is all new. There's lots of great sculpted and painted detail on her costume. Her costume is a mix of black and grey. Most of the black areas is textured. The zipper was done very well. You can make out the teeth. Her bracelets are more noticeable with the metallic grey. Her belt and boots are gloss black which help differentiate them from the rest of her costume. The buckles of her thigh straps were painted silver. She has S.H.I.E.L.D logos on both her arms. Unfortunately for me they have paint rubs.

The guns on the side of her legs were sculpted on and are not removable. It's quite disappointing that she doesn't come with any weapons that she can use. An interesting thing is the straps connecting the holsters to the belt is not attached. I think it's better this way so they don't hinder leg articulation.

She comes with an extra interchangeable head. This one has short curly hair which she was seen with in the Avengers movie. It's great that Hasbro included it. We didn't get an Avengers movie Black Widow figure and this goes some way to make up for it. I'm not so lucky with the eyes here. She's looking up and to her right.

She comes with two sets of hands. One pair are open hands which you see in the pics above. The other pair are gun holding hands. There's not much point to them without guns.

So presto. That's much better. The guns were borrowed from Hit Monkey. They fit well in her hands.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can hardly turn her head with the straight hair. It's much better with the short hair.

Comparison shots.

Great figure. She definitely needs some guns to feel complete. Thanks for viewing!

I am simply dumbfounded that Hasbro neglected to pack in any type of weaponry with her. I'm glad you mentioned Hit Monkey's guns fit in her hands nicely as it gives me something to look for to complete her look.

@deSMOnd - Yup they did a pretty good job with the scale. I'm using the MS Hulk by the way.

@Colbey - She definitely needs the guns. She'll probably keep them permanently. Sorry Hit Monkey.

@Combo - Hope you find her soon.

@kimoz - Thanks!

Hasbro needs to make a Mk.VII Iron Man to truly complete the movie Avengers.
