I did something different this past weekend. I went to a museum. The Singapore Philatelic Museum to be exact. No, I didn't go there to get additions for my stamp collection. Not that I have one. Lol. I went to check out the Light vs Dark Exhibition which is being held there till 30 June 2013. Many Star Wars figures, vehicles and collectibles are on display. And also the stamps.
Here's the front of the museum. You could say the Dark side was strong on the day I went.
The Light vs Dark Exhibition occupies the atrium. Over 800 3.75" figures are on display. I'm not familiar with the various lines but I think the figures cover from Power of the Force to the current Vintage Collection and Clone Wars.
I spent quite some time looking at the vehicles. It's not often you get to see them together.
Here's some of the 12" figures...
... and some of the various collectibles which include postcards and Disney tie-in figures.
Let's not forget the stamps.
R2-D2 and a couple of costumes are on display as well. If you like to catch the Stormtroopers, you can do so on the dates listed.
If you're going to the exhibition, do check out the other galleries. You can learn about stamps, how they are made and the different types. There are many stamps from various countries which you can view. You can also see some of the items from Singapore's postal history. It's actually quite interesting.
There are also other exhibitions currently being held. They are the "Snakes and Ladders" and "Spice is Nice" exhibitions.

I had a nice quiet time looking at the displays. It's a welcome change from jostling with the crowd at conventions. Thanks to all the collectors who contributed.
