STGCC 2013 Thoughts and Everything Else

I said it before, I'll say it again. This was the best STGCC ever! I would have been happy with just the toys alone. Yes there was an overdose of Iron Man but what fantastic displays there were. Play Imaginative revealing their whole upcoming lineup at one go was amazing. I don't think that's been done in any toy line before. Enterbay with their NBA collection offered something different. And also the Manchester United figures.

Today is 24 April 2013, which means the 1/12 scale Super Alloy Iron Man figures from Play Imaginative were revealed.

Play Imaginative Super Alloy Iron Man Preview Showcase and "Become Iron Man" Experience

The Super Alloy Iron Man Preview Showcase by Play Imaginative is being held at Bugis Junction Level 1 (outside Hotel Intercontinental) from 19 April to 5 May 2013. The opening hours are from 10am - 10pm daily. I dropped by the first day for a look.

STGCC 2012 Part 7: Thoughts and Everything Else

 

The Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) was held on the 1st and 2nd September 2012 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. With close to 160 local and international exhibitors participating, this year's edition was the largest to date. I went on both days and had a great time, taking photos, meeting people and most importantly, checking out the toys.
