Marvel Legends Series Havok (Bonebreaker BAF)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Havok.

A black costumed figure on a black background might not have been such a good idea. Not with my current setup anyway. The legs in some of the pics look very slim... sorry about that. Havok is on the Sunfire body so hopefully you already know how it's like. There is a hole in his back. The figure is all black in colour. The logo was very well printed on. I'm not sure if they used any special ink or anything. It stands out brilliantly under lights.

The head sculpt is nice. I think they captured his look really well. The mask was sculpted. It's not much of a mask if you ask me. You can make out his ears on the side of his head. His sculpted eyebrows are blonde in colour. His eyes were painted looking to his right on my figure. The grey crown piece is a separate piece. It's pegged in at the back and stuck on in front. The red gem has a pretty bright tone to it.

Accessories. He come with three effect pieces. One for his back and two for his hands. The included BAF parts are a couple of barrels for Bonebreaker.

The effect pieces are the highlights of this figure. They are solid, blue tinted, transparent hard plastic pieces. A first in the line as far as effects pieces go. They have a very nice circular pattern on them. And they catch the light very well. It's like a powered up effect piece. The large piece goes onto his back. The two smaller pieces go onto his wrists. You'll have to remove his hands first. The effect pieces are loose on his wrists and will not maintain its position. Unless you push it further up his arm.

I would have liked an effect piece to come out from his chest. I guess we can have him hold this in front of himself.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots. Please excuse the lack of a foot on the Toy Biz figure. It's likely around, don't know where it when to.

Great figure! Love the effect pieces! Thanks for viewing!
