Marvel Legends Series Beetle (Sinister Villains)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Beetle from the Vulture BAF Series. 

A classic Beetle at last! We have got several Beetle figures previously but this is the one that I wanted the most as I'm most familiar with him. Abe Jenkins is the man in the suit and what you see is the second suit which he designed. I really love how he turned out. The torso is new and is angular which shows that it's a suit of armour he's wearing. The metallic paint also helps to portray that. The top of the arms too are armoured. I would have preferred if they did not have the visible "rivets". The groin piece is new and the belt was sculpted on. The arms from the bicep down and the legs reuses those from the Bucky Cap mould. He's got a nice head sculpt. The protruding points are soft so take care how you keep the figure. You don't want them to get bent or warped.  

Accessories. Maybe I shouldn't call them accessories. They are more like parts of his suit. There's the purple shell pieces and the wings. The shell pieces peg into the upper holes on his back while the wings peg into the other set. The wings are the same ones that came with the Janice Lincoln Beetle. The included BAF piece is the right turbine for Vulture.

With the shell on his look is complete now. The pieces have swivel and hinge which allows them to be moved up for the wings to be deployed.

The wings obviously don't fit inside the shell and you have to peg them in once the shell is adjusted.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. The ab crunch allows two clicks forward and one click back.
