Marvel Legends Series Giant Man BAF (Captain America: Civil War)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Series Giant Man BAF.

Just six figures are required for the parts this time. The list as follows:

Head - Captain America (Captain America: Civil War)
Torso - Nuke
Right Arm - Iron Man Mark 46
Left Arm - Nick Fury
Right Leg - Red Guardian
Left Leg - Black Panther (Captain America: Civil War)

Giant Man is based on his very likely appearance in Captain America: Civil War. The costume is largely similar to what we saw in Ant-Man. They got the helmet right this time. His face is fully covered. There's good sculpted detail. I like that they made his eyes visible. The antenna are made of the softer, rubbery type of plastic so take care if resting him on a surface. The helmet has a black wash on it which is nice. The costume is great! Again there's great sculpted detail and there's a lot of textured areas. I'm not sure about the shoes. To me it's a very odd decision to have the tongues sticking out like that. Did he get them off a bum on the street? On the plus side they are bent forwards and have a little flexibility which allows him to lean forward with no restriction. The belt is a separate piece. It seems to me like it's not long enough for the two ends to meet. This could be how it actually looks like though. We'll just have to wait for the movie to come out.

A close-up of his head. You can better see his eyes through the helmet. Click images to enlarge.

Articulation. There's a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, and ankle hinge and pivot. The range of his articulation is superb. He can look up and down very well. I particularly very pleased with how high he can raise and spread his legs. This for a BAF is impressive. He's very poseble.

Comparison shots. He's not the "giant" I would have liked him to be.

This is an excellent figure! There's great detail and I'm happy with the articulation. Thanks for viewing!

Ok, now I'm really wishing we'd get to see Giant Man vs Hulkbuster in the actual movie.
