DC Comics Multiverse Batman: Endgame The Joker

"You miss me? Heh Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Haaaaa!!!"

Mattel has revived the 6" DC line in recent times. The line is now under the DC Multiverse brand which encompasses characters based from various media. Though there's quite number of new figures available they just don't appeal me. The Joker is an exception. I think he looks great. He's based on his appearance in the Batman: Endgame comic arc. He no longer wears the colourful attire we're used to seeing him in and now dons a black suit. We've seen this body before. It's been used many times in the DC Universe and Batman Movie Masters lines. The left hand is new. It's sculpted in a "call-me" sort of gesture. I think they made it so that we can have him pose pulling the mask accessory like in the comics. He's wearing gloves and there's nice detail sculpted on. The excellent head sculpt is what makes this figure so appealing. There's lots of great detail. There's a lot of facial lines. The eyebrows and the teeth were all sculpted. Also the close cropped hair on the side of his head. Very nice! The paint apps are great too. The eyes, eyebrows and lips were very well done. And I like that there's shading in the teeth and hair.

A better look at his close cropped hair at the side. It's lightly painted too. Very nice!

Accessories. He comes a mask and the left arm of the Collect and Connect Justice Buster. I'm unlikely to complete the Justice Buster. I'm not keen on the other figures and I don't really like the look of it. It reminds me of something out of TMNT.

The Joker had his own face cut out in the comics and wore it as a mask. That was sick! Just goes to show how twisted the Joker is. By the events of Endgame his face had been restored. He still had the mask with him though. The mask is stretched vertically so we can create the pose as shown in the comics and on the packaging. The mask has good detail. It's wrinkly and has several cuts in it. It has some red shading on it for the blood stains. I think they could have made it more grimy. Just for fun I made him wear it for a look.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, wrist hinge, waist rotation, peg hinge hips, thigh swivel, knee hinge and ankle hinge.

Comparison shots.

I think this is a great figure even though it's on the same old body. Love that head sculpt! Thanks for viewing!

Nice review, and awesome shots as always!
Just wanted to add that he has an ab crunch hidden there under the suit as well (not much extra motion). Mine was stuck really well, and took some elbow grease to get free.

Thanks! Had a look. There's a torso joint there and like you said, it doesn't move much.
