DC Collectibles Batman: The New Batman Adventures (TNBA) Batgirl

Here's a look at the DC Collectibles TNBA Batgirl.

Of all the Batman Animated figures released so far Batgirl is the one I'm least happy with. It's still a pretty nice figure don't get me wrong. It's just that I'm put off by her cowl and eyes. The area underneath her eyes should be exposed as well, like with above her eyes. As it is she looks like she has weird eyebrows. She only has an outline for her eyes. It gives the impression that it's her mask and someone drew circles on the eye pieces. They should have painted her pupils light blue. Then there's that bit of brown of her lower lip. I checked with pics online and indeed there's a brown highlight on her lips in the show. I feel they should have left it off the figure. It appears more of a blemish than a highlight. The body is okay. I like the "spike" section of her gloves. Her belt was sculpted on. The logo was painted on okay. She wears a nice short cape. The yellow paint apps for the inside wasn't done well and the edges of the cape are a bit of a mess.

Accessories. She comes with three extra pairs of hands (fists, narrow gripping and wider gripping), a Batarang hand, a hand with a sculpted on grapple launcher, a Batarang, a grapple launcher which comes in two parts, a stand and base.

The sculpted grapple launcher should have been painted black like the loose one.

Her Batarang is similar to Batman's. It's thinner and smaller in size.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, peg hinge hips, knee hinge, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. She cannot look up or down. There's not also not much head rotation due to her hair. The ankle hinge does not allow her to point her feet downwards.

Comparison shots.

Like I said, I'm not too happy with this figure. It should have been better. Thanks for viewing!
