Marvel Legends Infinite Series Valkyrie (Fearless Defenders)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Valkyrie.

This is Valkyrie in her modern look. I like the head sculpt. She's got a confident look about her. Her eyes and lips were well painted. Her hair has a lot of volume and it makes her head look big. There's great detail for her hair. See how it's parted at the back. Also the braids look very nice. One thing about her braids is that they are quite stiff and stick out a little awkwardly when you turn her head. Her hair has some brown shading on it. I'm annoyed at that patch of grey on the back. The body shares similar parts to the Red She-Hulk. The torso is new. The armour detail at her neck and body were sculpted. The bracers were only painted on unfortunately. The armoured areas were painted with a nice shiny silver. The belt was stuck on. It's got some nice detail on it and I like that they painted the buckle and the studs.

I always found this look of Valkyrie a little plain. So here's how she looks with a cape. I think she looks better.

Accessories. She comes with her sword "Dragonfang". It's a repaint of the same sword that came with the previous Valkyrie figure. I think the blade is supposed to be gold in colour but I've seen it silver as well. In any case now we have both so we can choose our preference.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hinge hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can hardly look up.

Comparison shots. I like her boost in size considering she's an Asgardian. Maybe she's a little too big now though.

Valkyrie overall is a nice figure. Thanks for viewing!
