Loki... I mean Sylvie looks great. I think she has a good head sculpt. The likeness is good. I feel that the eyes are a little too big and bulging. She appears wide-eyed and a little fearful. The paint apps for the eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes was done very well. Her crown is a separate piece stuck on. It's only got the one horn. The gold plastic helps it stand out from her blond hair. Her hair has good shape and detail. I like the few locks hanging loosely at the side. I don't recall her having a bun at the top. I'll have to go re-watch some episodes. Her hair also has some shading in it. The body is all new. She's wearing a vest over a black attire. There's some padding at her shoulders. I like the scale like pattern on them. The vest was sculpted and has some nice detail. You can also make out the creases in it. There's some string at the back which is probably how she tightens the vest. I like that they did the gold paint detail on the front. She's wearing some sleeve covers on her arms. It has some creases and wrinkles in it, and on her pants also. The belt is a separate piece. She wears it with the buckle to her left side. I never noticed that previously.
Some close-ups.
Accessories. She comes with an extra set of gripping hands, a cloak and a sword. These hands have swivel and up and down hinge articulation. The included BAF part is the cape for The Watcher.
Here's how Sylvie looks with the cloak. It's really neat and fits her body snugly. Perhaps too snugly as it's pretty stiff and it restricts articulation, especially the arms. The hood portion is hanging on the back.
The sword has some nice detail on it. It has a sculpted animal's head hilt. I can't really make out what animal it's supposed to be. The hilt is gold in colour and has a bit of green in the centre of it. The green section looks to have some markings carved on it. There's also some marking on the blade as well. I'm not sure if the blade is supposed to be so green. It's hard to make out in the scenes but from what I can tell it definitely has a greenish tint.
There's no place for her to store the sword but what we can do is to tuck it into her belt. She draws her sword from that area so this will do for now.
Next up Mobius.
Mobius came as a surprise. I was fully expecting him to be on one of the previous suited bodies. But no. His torso is new and features a diaphragm joint. The crotch piece looks to be new as well, and also his jacket. The arms and legs reuses those from the Agent Coulson body. I'll touch more on the new torso in a little bit. Let's talk about the head sculpt which is good. He's got a good likeness. It's better when you view him from an angle or from the side. The cheeks look to be a little too rounded but it's about there. What I'm really impressed with is that they actually gave him his broken nose. How great is that! I would have liked if his moustache were a bit darker, and if they gave him a bit of five o'clock shadow. The hair has good detail. It just needs to be stuck on better on my piece. His tie is the square end type. It's been stuck on on the upper torso which sucks for me as the tie is crooked. There's nice sculpted detail for his belt. His shoes are a shiny brown and it is dark brown underneath.
Some close-ups. Check out the broken nose. That's attention to detail for you.
His jacket is new. His has the line going down and it does not have the pocket at the waist.
Here's how the new torso looks like. The collar is quite big. There are quite a bit of creases and wrinkles on his shirt.
And here's the range of the diaphragm joint. There's not a lot of bend forward. The back and sides are pretty good.
Accessories. He comes with a pruning stick and a TemPad.
The TemPad is really neat. It is flat and compact, and has a gold exterior.
What's great about it is that it opens up and inside it has the various buttons and switches. There's a blemish on the screen of my piece unfortunately. Click images to enlarge.
The pruning stick has some nice detail on it as well. I especially like that it has the gold paint detail at the zapper end.
Articulation
Sylvie has a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists (default hands), swivel and up and down hinge (gripping hands), ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel, and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look up and down decently. The elbows can bend more than ninety degrees. She cannot really bend forward. There's more range to the back and to the sides.
Mobius has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, diaphragm joint, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. Aside from bending forward the diaphragm joint is good.
Comparison shots.
Both great figure! Thanks for viewing!
Man, I loved the review. Most of your staged shots are hilarious, but that last one is what did it for me. That and the one where Mobius looks like he's dealing with bad arthritis.
