Marvel Legends Series Disney+ Scarlet Witch & The Vision (WandaVision)

The first two from the Marvel Legends Disney+ series, Scarlet Witch and Vision.

The MCU Scarlet Witch is becoming more and more like her comic counterpart. We finally see the tiara and she now has a proper looking costume. I like the look. Hasbro did a great job with her new attire. There's nice sculpted detail all round and it's textured. Even the arm sleeves and her pants are textured. Nice! I like the various shades of red in her costume. She's got a great head sculpt. The likeness is good. There's a bit of an anguished vibe around her which suits her well. The eyes and lips were well painted. Her tiara was stuck on and it has some nice detail on it. Her hair is flared out and in mid-rise. You really get the sense that her powers are increasing. There's good detail for her hair and I like that there's some shading in it. One thing I don't like about the figure is how weak the legs are, or I should say the knees. It's hard to get her to do nice poses.

Accessories. She comes with an alternate set of translucent magic effect hands and two magic effect pieces. Included is a wing piece of Captain America's flight gear.

The translucent hands are pretty cool. They help show her abilities more, especially when combined with the effect pieces.

Next up, Vision.

Vision was a bit of a surprise for me. I initially thought Hasbro would just simply reuse the previous figure. That's not the case. He's got a new head sculpt which looks great. There's a good amount of sculpted detail and the likeness is better than on the previous figure. I wish the eyes were painted better. There's a noticeable unpainted spot and it looks like he's looking to his right. The painted blue thingy on is forehead looks off. I don't think it's suppose to have that long of a line going downwards. The cape too is new. It's translucent here and it has less of the circuitry design. It looks nice but I can't help but be reminded of a shower curtain. Perhaps a light white spray is in order. The cape is not removable. Its' peg seems to be glued in his back. The body reuses that of the previous figure. The beige coloured bracers and leg guards stand out too much for liking. I would have preferred them to be of a similar tone to his body. The white of his cape "collar" would do nicely.

Here's a close-up of his head.

And here's a quick comparison with the previous figure. I foresee Hasbro releasing another default Vision with this new head sculpt. Hopefully they can update the body.

Accessories. He comes with an extra pair of fists. And also included are the wing pieces of Captain America's flight gear which you see below.

Articulation

Vision has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.

Scarlet Witch has a dumbbell joint upper neck, ball joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge right wrist, swivel and up and down hinge left wrist, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down just a bit. She cannot look up at all due to her hair. She can bend forward a little. She can bend back more and tilt to her sides well. Her knees are very weak and it's hard to pose her.

Comparison shots.

Scarlet Witch is nice but could use sturdier legs. Vision turned out better than expected. Thanks for viewing!
