Marvel Legends Series Iron Man Mark LXXXV (Mark 85)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 85.

Iron Man Mark 85 is one of the best MCU figures we've gotten. The sculpt, the size, the proportions, the detail. Everything looks great! I also like the metallic red and gold tones used. I think it's screen accurate. There's just one minor issue I have. And that is the arc reactor. You can't really make it out in the pics but there's kind of like a fingerprint pattern on it. Fortunately it's not too noticeable.

A close-up of his helmet. It's a really nice sculpt.

And another gripe. Hasbro for some reason decided to change the type of neck peg...

It's quite upsetting as we can't use the unmasked head with this figure. That is unless you don't mind him with a very long neck... I had to use some sticky tack for the following pic by the way.

Accessories. He comes with an extra pair of fists, the Nano Gauntlet and four Repulsor effects pieces. That's right, four! Two for the hands and two for the feet. This is the first figure we don't have to pull out the accessory box for extra effects pieces. And we don't have to worry if the tone of blue will match. Love that! The included BAF parts are the left arm and a left hand with the time heist device thingy for Bro Thor.

The Nano Gauntlet comes in two parts. There's the forearm portion and the glove portion. It's meant for the Endgame Hulk BAF. To use simply pull out the Hulk's fist, put on the forearm portion and peg in the glove portion. It's appropriately sized and looks good on him.

Thanos may use it as well. However due to the existing armour on his forearm we can't really peg in the glove portion. What I've done is to simply place it.

It works better with the Infinity War Thanos. There's no armour to interfere here.

The Nano Gauntlet is much too big for Iron Man to use unfortunately. Once again I've simply placed it on and secured it with some sticky tac for the following pic.

And just to show you how he looks with the nano gauntlet which came with the basic Hulk figure. It's a slightly better fit for him but it's still too large.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. There's good bend at the elbows and knees. He can bend forward just a bit. He can arch back and slant to the sides more. The sculpt at his hips restricts him from raising his legs more than it could have. You can however turn the hips to get them raised a bit more.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! Really happy with it. Thanks for viewing!

Good day! May you please try to fit the Nanogauntlet onto the unarmored Thanos and post a picture? I am tempted to invest in one to create a dual-gauntlet wielder, but that would be a hefty sum and it would be very nice to find out if it is possible. Thank you!
