Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Luis & Ghost (Ant-Man & The Wasp)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Luis and Ghost figures.

Luis for me is the more wanted of the two. He's a memorable character. I kinda wish they included a playback device so we can hear him narrate something. But that would probably increase the price which we don't want. Luis looks great. Hasbro nailed it with this one. The likeness is spot on. I just love his smiling, pleasant expression. True to character. The body reuses the Coulson body with a new right hand and Luke Cage's work shoes. He also has a new buttoned up jacket which is not removable. The X-Con badge was printed on. X-Con is the security company that he and Scott started. You know it just occurred the name could be a play on "ex con". You know because Scott was an ex con... I'm slow... anyway I would have preferred if the badge wasn't there so we can reuse the body more easily.

Awesome head sculpt!

His right hand is new. There's a ring sculpted on his pinky.

I mentioned his work shoes being from the Netflix Luke Cage. There's a slight difference and that is the back of the shoes for Luis is shorter than Cage's.

Accessories. Luis comes with the shrunk down lab and a large ant. Was this ant called Anthony as well? I can't remember.

The shrunken lab has nice detail on it. And just like in the movie it has a handle which extends out. Unfortunately the handle is not long enough for a figure to comfortably pull it.

I'm not too hot about Ghost. I must say she looks good though. The design of her suit was sculpted and I especially like the textured darker grey areas. The mask looks good too. There's a bit of red paint slop on my piece. Fortunately it's not too noticeable. Her head is stuck to the hood piece. I would have preferred it were not so as to give us more display options. One negative thing about her is that her feet are rather small and it takes some effort to pose her. Standing straight is fine.

Here's a closer look at her mask. It's very nice.

Accessories. She comes with an unmasked head and a folded down hood piece.

The unmasked head looks decent. The eyes were well done. She has quite a piercing gaze. I love the way they did her hair. She has long strands in front and the rest is short and curved in. This makes it seem like her hair is tucked into her suit. Very nice!

Articulation

Luis has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The ab crunch can hardly be used. He can't really lean forward due to his shoes.

Ghost has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can only look down just a little bit with both heads. She cannot look up due to the hood / hair. The torso joint allows good bend to the sides and back. She can only bend forward a little bit. She is quite difficult to pose due to her small feet.

Comparison shots. I think Scott is slightly taller than Luis so the height looks right. I was worried his shoes would make him too tall.

Both nice figures. I would have liked if Ghost were more stable to pose. Thanks for viewing!
