Marvel Legends Series Cyclops (Warlock BAF)

Got lucky the other day! I managed to score a set of the Marvel Legends Warlock BAF series! I'm guessing you'll want to look at Cyclops first so here you go.

A Jim Lee Cyclops at last! For a long time now he's been a major want. Though there have been figures of him previously they just don't cut it anymore. Cyclops looks great! I think he's got a great head sculpt. The visor is gold in colour. The paint apps are a little rough on my piece, notably at the edges of the lens. There's good sculpted detail for his hair and there's some black shading in it. Very nice! The body reuses the Bucky Captain America mould. I like the consistency as he'll be the same size as the other Hasbro Cyclops figures we've got. The harness thingy and belt is one separate piece. There's good detail on it. The X logos, buckles and pouches were all sculpted. Nice paint detail as well. The ring around the X near his shoulder is gold in colour which you may not be able to make out. There's also some dark yellow shading done. The yellow of the harness is of a darker tone compared to yellow of his costume. There's a peg at one of the back pouches and you can remove the harness if you want. The thigh straps, glove and boot tops are added on pieces. They are too big in my opinion, especially for the gloves. The pieces on his legs stay on through friction. They are loose on my figure and will drop down whenever I change his pose. It was very annoying when I was taking the photos. They stay on okay if you leave him alone.

I tried on the Matt Murdock head. The look is almost there. The hair will need some modification.

Cyclops does not come with any accessories. I would have liked if he had an optic blast effect piece and also an extra left fist. The included BAF part is the left leg of Warlock.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots. No prizes for guessing which Jim Lee Cyclops I'll be using from now on.

Those strap pieces on the legs are annoying but I'll say this is a great figure overall. Thanks for viewing!
