Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora

I recently saw Gamora in person, albeit out of costume. Let's see how the figure compares.

This is a good looking figure. I think she's got a good likeness. The face markings were well painted on. Her eyes are gloss black and have a black outline which draws you to them. They look alien like. Her hair was well sculpted and has good detail. It's painted black on top and it transitions into a metallic brownish red. It's nice but I think I would have preferred it if matte paint were used. Going by the trailers her costume looks to be accurate from what I can tell except for some colour difference. The collar section with the sculpted silver discs should be black instead of blue. Her costume has got lots of great detail. The green section on the front and sides are textured. The sculpted lines on her gloves and pants suggest them to be of durable material. Her boots have sculpted clasps. She wears a belt. It's loose around her waist. She has trouble standing. Widening her stance more helps a bit.

She comes with a sword. It kinda looks like a long tuning fork. There are some sculpted markings on it. It's made of a stiffer type of plastic so it should hold it's shape. Her grip on it is loose in both hands. I have her holding further up the sword so it won't drop out as easily.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle swivel and hinge. The torso joint allows for rotation but it can hardly bend forward or tilt backward. The hip joints are the main issue. She can hardly lift her legs out to the sides. She already has difficulty standing so that just makes things harder to find good poses for her.

Comparison shots.

It's a nice figure. Unfortunately it doesn't have the articulation to match. Thanks for viewing!
