Marvel Select The Watcher

The Watcher was one of the few remaining already released Marvel figures that I wanted. Got him at a good price, but you get what you pay for. The figure's head is broken, it has wear and is discoloured. He still looks good enough to display though. And I actually quite like the "bobble head" feature he now has.   

Marvel Universe Greatest Battles Daredevil & Bullseye Comic 2-pack

Daredevil and Bullseye were part of the very first series of Marvel Universe figures. They've been released again in this 2-pack with major improvements.  

Spider-man line 3.75" Shocker

Hey toy fans! It's your friendly neighbourhood Spider-man! Bet you didn't expect to see me again after what happened last time.* I thought I was a goner, but then a giant hand came out of nowhere and carried me to safety. Its been months since that incident, I didn't hear from that toy guy again until recently. He said he had a special assignment for me. I wasn't too keen at first. But after hearing him out, I took the job.

Surprised to see this on the pegs.  I can't remember the last time I got a new Marvel Universe figure from local retail. Happy to have gotten it.

My 100th post! And it's also almost a year since I started this blog. Made a new header and cleaned the place up abit. For this milestone post, I would like to share my DC Animated collection with you. But before that, I would like thank everyone for visiting. The Justice League Unlimited (JLU) line has been on the brink of death many times before. But this time it may truly be the end. This seven figures are said to be the last of the line. They are Gypsy, The Creeper, Johnny Thunder, Thunderbolt, Crimson Avenger, Speedy and Dr Midnight.

Anime Festival Asia 2011

Attended Anime Festival Asia (AFA) for the first time. It certainly was an experience.

BLEACH Rukia Kuchiki

Continuing the mini BLEACH showcase, here's Rukia Kuchiki. She's a Shinigami but as you can see, she's not dressed like one. I did consider getting a figure of her in Shinigami attire, but decided this would be fine as its how I best remember her. At the time of posting, I've only watched up till the point where Ichigo was training to achieve Bankai (second release state of his zanpakuto) in the anime.

BLEACH Ichigo Kurosaki

Having followed K-On! earlier this year, I developed an interest in anime. So I've watched and been following various series on Animax. They include The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star and currently, I'm watching BLEACH. It's a good show, fun and engrossing. In light of AFA2011, I'll be posting about two figures from BLEACH. First up will be Ichigo Kurosaki.

Wanted this figure back when it was released but was always put off by the price. Had forgotten about it since getting the DCUC version. Chanced upon it online for a good price and promptly purchased it.

Recently caught the movie. Loved it! Went to check out the toys. Decided on the 6" version. Was thinking for five dollars more, it would be more worth it as I would get a bigger toy. The line must be pretty popular as it took some time before I found this piece.

Its been awhile since my last Wolverine figure purchase. Well... not counting those that came in multi-packs that is. This costume is my second favourite after the tiger striped version.

Have been looking forward to this Loki figure. The ML13 one didnt last long on the display shelf. I have limited space. His horns were long, the cape was too big and he kept falling so he had to make way. Even when I changed the display, for some reason, I always passed on him. Finally this major villain gets a spot on the shelf.

I've been wanting a JLU STRIPE figure for a long time, so much so that I made a custom of him back when around Stargirl was released in the three-pack to stand in. There's a pic of that below. I'm glad to have got this figure, my custom is cracking up, literally.
