Marvel Legends Series Spider-man: Far From Home Default Costume & Stealth Suit

Here's a double dose of Marvel Legends Far From Home Spider-man for you.

New movie, new costume, new figure. New body too. That's right default Spidey here is on an all new body. And he looks pretty good. I think the proportions are better than the Homecoming version. The lines of the costume were all sculpted and there's nice muscle definition. The figure is quite shiny. Now I've heard some comments on how the shine makes it look like a knock off. I can see that point of view but if you refer to the trailers and promotional images you can see his costume does has a shine to it, and I think they did a great job of it. It looks very nice to me. If anything maybe the red could be of a slightly darker tone. The black areas of his costume has a textured pattern on it. It looks to have been printed on. Nice! Click images to enlarge. I like the way they did the logo. It has the white edges like how it's supposed to be. I also like white logo on his back. Love the contrast.

Stealth Suit Spidey next.

Unlike default Spidey, Stealth Suit Spidey has some proportion issues. Notably the neck area. It looks long, thin and awkward. And I think the head also looks a tad small. I'm fine with the rest of the body. There's nice sculpted detail on his suit. I especially like the sculpted lines on his "ski-mask". Some parts of his suit are gloss black, such as the arms and the straps on his legs. It helps differentiate a different part of his suit and I don't mind it too much.

Accessories

Stealth Suit Spidey comes with an alternate head with the goggles raised and an extra pair of web-shooting hands. The included BAF part is the left hand of Molten Man and a charred metal bar.

Default Spidey only comes with an extra pair of web-shooting hands.

The goggles are fixed in the raised position on the alternate head. I wished there was a hinge so that it can be used. As it is this feels a bit of a waste to me. Unless there's a very cool scene in the movie involving it or something. I would have much rather have got a new unmasked head. Take care when swapping heads as you don't want the goggles to break off.

On the subject of heads, the unmasked Peter Parker cannot be used on both these figures unless you do some modifications. Hopefully we'll get a new updated one.

They are able to swap heads if you like.

Articulation

Both default Spidey and Stealth Suit Spidey have a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. Both can look up and down well. Stealth Suit Spidey can look awkward in some poses though due to little to no pivot of the head. The butterfly joints work well. Love them. Both can crunch forward about one and a half clicks and bend back one click.

Comparison shots.

Both nice figures. Stealth suit Spidey would have been better if not for the head and neck issues. I'll likely use him as a burglar or a mercenary for the time being. Thanks for viewing!
